Well, hello there Mr. Moon!  

I had no idea how to get this shot.. serious thanks to my Bestie for teaching me, being patient with me, and sharing her equipment with me.

Spring Break :)

So, I'm thinking that I should change the Bloggy Blog to a Project 52.... seems I'm always catching up. :) Daily is a BIG challenge.

Ok, so this week the camera went for a bath at the fantabulous Fort Worth Camera and I went through withdrawls... it was ugly.  I dreamt of buying the new Canon T3i.  I downloaded too many photo apps on the iPhone of Happiness and loved every one of them.  I drooled over the new iPad 2.  But, I was good... I had no choice...and I didn't buy anything new.  Now that I have my lovely little camera back and have my awesome macro attached, I realize I have much to learn and much to practice.

I need a tripod.  Scratch that.  I want a tripod.  

I want a new camera.  Scratch that.  I want the Canon T3i with the fancy lens.

I want the new iPad 2.  

Want, want, want... blah, blah, blah.... 

I'm having a greedy little materialistic moment.  I have them every once in a while.  

Now that I got that out of my system....I'm blessed, lucky, and having a lot of fun.  :)

Ok, so I had really good intentions of keeping this up to date on a daily basis. 

I SO failed. 

I think I need to re-think my expectations and actually make them attainable. 

:)

However, life is good & that's what counts!!

Rodeo Day/Texas Independence Day means cowboy hats, cowboy boots, paper spurs,

and if you're in my classroom it also means pink bandanas!! 

So many lovely ladies also rock it out with pink boots! 

I wanted to go all over the building snapping pictures of all the pink boots...

I regret that I wasn't able to do that.

These beautiful pink boots belong to two of my favorite friends... pink boots ROCK!! :)

Spring is arriving.... and the beautiful Bradford Pear trees are celebrating.

Imperfect sunset.... grainy, powerlines, dust on the lens... but the color that evening was stunning.
